KHVT is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the construction of free public skateboard parks in the St. Louis, Mo. area, and to promoting skateboarding as a fun, healthy activity for both youths and adults.

KHVT was founded in support of the Kinghighway D.I.Y. skatespot, built between 2009 and 2015 by local skateboarders under the South Kinghshighway viaduct. When "the bridge" was demolished in July 2015, St. Louis was left with no free public skateparks. Since then, KHVT has built one new park, the Peter Mathews Memorial Skate Garden, and is working to create even more. Donations of time, labor, materials and money are welcome!

5 more yards courtesy of KHVT!!!!

Even with all the scheduling issues we still managed to get 5 yards of fresh crete down! Thanks to everyone who helped make it possible including everyone who came to Gore on the Floor! You paid for it! Special thanks to the crew, the random shovels that showed up and a BIG thank you to our neighbors at Uhaul, Larry and Cathy, for the use of there water and being so understanding!

On a side note, We at KHVT love art and even graffiti but the city has told us that in order to keep the bridge going we need to keep the graffiti painted over. We know the bridge has been a spot for all you writers for years before we were there but now we are here and trying to create a great place for skaters of the city to come and not get in trouble for doing what they love. So please go somewhere else. There are over 10 bridges and overpasses within a mile of us..... Don't HATE!
